We are thrilled to have participated in the inaugural New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) Climate Institute, hosted by NYCPS School Office of Energy and Sustainability and Columbia University Teachers College. Our workshop was one of 50 unique workshops for NYC public school educators at the Institute.

A huge congratulations to the 30 dedicated teachers who joined our workshop “Catalyzing Energy Efficiency Through Transformative Education of Passive House Building Science”.

Presentation & Wall Assembly Mock-Ups

During the workshop, we delved into the energy efficiency benefits of Passive House building science. Teachers had the opportunity to construct their own Passive House wall assembly models, engage in insightful discussions, and receive resources to enrich their classroom teaching.
