NYCPS Mid-Winter Climate Institute

We are thrilled to have participated in the inaugural NYCPS Climate Institute, hosted by NYC School Sustainability and Columbia University Teachers College. This groundbreaking event is a significant step in advancing the NYC Strategic Climate Plan, as outlined in PlaNYC: Getting Sustainability Done.

A huge congratulations to the 30 dedicated teachers who joined our workshop “Catalyzing Energy Efficiency Through Transformative Education of Passive House Building Science”.

During the workshop, we delved into the energy efficiency benefits of Passive House building science. Teachers had the opportunity to construct their own Passive House wall assembly models, engage in insightful discussions, and receive resources to enrich their classroom teaching.
